BUILD — the full autumn term, open to view

A complete, connected SEMH curriculum offer: six ASDAN slots, a practical D&T community build, and a values & safeguarding tutor programme.

For teaching professionals: every lesson below is a ready-to-teach interactive pack — open it, teach from it, print it. For local authorities and trusts: this page shows the full evidence-led design in one place — how practical lessons bank accredited portfolio evidence, how pupil voice (Lundy: Voice · Audience · Influence) is engineered into every session, and how safeguarding education is woven into the weekly routine.

SEMH-safe by design
Calm palette & Calm Mode, success-first tasks, no leaderboards, pass-allowed check-outs.
Accessible
Task zones marked by icon + label + colour (never colour alone), reduced-motion, Standard/Supported in every lesson.
Evidence-led
Documentarian photo roles, annotated visuals, witness-statement shorthand → ASDAN portfolios; routine evidence capture in tutor time.
Pupil voice
Every lesson closes a Lundy loop — a real choice, a real audience, a real influence.

1 · BUILD ASDAN — the six-slot term

All six ASDAN slots, one system. Careers · Vocational/D&T · Living Independently · FoodWise · Community Project · Junior/Young Duke + Social Enterprise. Thirty new lessons (six per slot), each banking a named ASDAN module or challenge, connected by slot hubs and one master hub.

2 · Teesside Community Upcycling — Vocational / D&T

Reclaimed timber → real community assets. Six workshop lessons taking pallets to planters and wildlife boxes for a local green space, with a launch-level photographic evidence engine feeding the ASDAN Vocational/D&T portfolio.

3 · Tutor Time — British Values · Behaviour Focus · KCSIE

Values and safeguarding, built into the routine. Eight interactive whiteboard sessions covering the fundamental British Values, our Behaviour Focus code and restorative repair, and protective KCSIE sessions — each ending with a check-out (the emotional register) and a pupil-run evidence slot. Eight tagged evidence entries per group per half-term: an inspection-ready SMSC/BV/safeguarding record with pupil voice built in.

How it holds together

The Community Project slot carries the D&T build into the community (partner liaison → site need → handover); the Duke eco-challenge links back to the upcycling project; Careers evidence banks toward the same accreditation family; and tutor time's democracy session votes on the same real choices the projects create. One term, one connected story — every strand producing evidence as it goes.
