# LundyLoop Pro — Verification Report

**Release:** v2 professional prototype suite
**Build date:** 15 August 2026
**Verification status:** **PASS with stated prototype boundaries**

## 1. Release under test

Primary application:

- `LundyLoop_PRO_Participation_Operating_System.html`

Supporting release:

- responsive launcher and `index.html` entry point;
- four retained pupil-facing LundyLoop applications;
- implementation, data-protection, safeguarding and source notes;
- visual QA evidence and machine-readable test outputs.

The release is a zero-dependency, offline-first browser prototype. It does not claim to be a secure MIS, safeguarding system, hosted multi-user service or legally compliant deployment by itself.

## 2. Functional workflow verification

A complete fictional case was driven through the visible user interface rather than inserted directly into application state.

| Stage | Test action | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Capture | Entered an alias, topic and exact pupil wording | PASS |
| Route | Declared the Decision Envelope, influenceable boundary, audience and named owner | PASS |
| Decision | Acknowledged the view, selected evidence, recorded outcome, action and reason | PASS |
| Return | Recorded who returned the decision and who owned follow-up | PASS |
| Review | Captured separate “felt listened to” and “outcome helped” responses | PASS |
| Closure | Confirmed the case reached `CLOSED` only after feedback and pupil review | PASS |
| Audit | Recomputed the case audit-event chain | PASS |

The interaction run completed with **zero captured console or page errors**.

### Reopen-cycle verification

A second workflow deliberately recorded a pupil response that the returned change had helped only partly and was not sufficient. The pupil-review stage reopened the loop, the earlier cycle was archived, and the case was routed again with a revised Limited Decision Envelope.

Results:

- reopened stage recorded as `REOPENED`;
- earlier cycle retained rather than overwritten;
- rerouted stage recorded as `ROUTED`;
- audit-event chain remained valid after reopening and rerouting.

This verifies the intended distinction between **returning feedback** and **forcing closure**.

## 3. Fictional demonstration estate

The built-in demonstration loaded seven fictional loops covering distinct operational states:

| Alias | Verified stage |
|---|---|
| M3 | Captured |
| J7 | Trial in progress |
| K1 | Return due |
| A2 | Under consideration |
| R5 | Pupil review due |
| P4 | Closed |
| T2 | Reopened |

All seven demonstration audit chains recomputed successfully.

The demonstration data is clearly marked as fictional and can be replaced or deleted from the interface.

## 4. Original professional mechanics tested

The following flagship mechanics were present and exercised during QA:

- **Participation Debt** — counts adult or organisational responses still owed rather than scoring pupils;
- **Decision Envelope** — Open, Limited and Fixed decision boundaries;
- **Voice Fidelity Twin** — exact pupil communication kept separate from adult interpretation;
- **Audience Routing Contract** — authority, named owner, escalation role, due date, return route and promise;
- **Decision Pressure Test** — acknowledgement, evidence, scope and accessible feedback gates;
- **Trial Licence** — reversible change, success measure and review date;
- **4F Return Studio** — Full, Friendly, Fast and Followed-up feedback prompts;
- **dual pupil review** — “felt listened to” kept separate from “outcome helped”;
- **reopen and re-route** — a new cycle without erasing the previous one;
- **safeguarding bypass** — transfer marker and optional local voice redaction;
- **retention queue** — local retain-until dates and expired-record purge route;
- **privacy shield and presentation blur**;
- **standalone case capsule, redacted CSV and full backup exports**.

## 5. Safeguarding-path verification

A fictional safety-related case was created and transferred using the dedicated safeguarding route.

Verified results:

- stage changed to `SAFEGUARDING_ROUTED`;
- local exact wording was replaced by a neutral transfer placeholder when the redaction option was selected;
- the application did not attempt to become the safeguarding record;
- the audit trail retained the fact of transfer without retaining the detailed fictional wording.

This is a workflow boundary, not proof of compliance with any organisation’s safeguarding policy.

## 6. Evidence portability and integrity

### Standalone case capsule

A self-contained HTML capsule was exported successfully from a fictional case. The capsule opened without an external runtime dependency.

### Redacted CSV

A process-analysis CSV was exported successfully. Automated content inspection confirmed that the tested pupil’s exact wording was **not** included.

The CSV may still contain combinations of dates, topic and case identifiers that could become identifiable in a small setting; the release therefore does not describe it as anonymous.

### Plain backup and restore

A full JSON backup containing nine fictional test cases was exported and imported into a fresh application instance.

Verified results:

- all nine cases restored;
- settings restored;
- all restored audit-event chains verified;
- import completed with zero captured console or page errors.

### Tamper detection

A retained audit event in the test fixture was deliberately altered. Chain verification changed from valid to invalid, confirming detection of alteration to retained events.

The chain remains **tamper-evident**, not immutable: local data can still be deleted, replaced wholesale or lost with browser storage.

### Encrypted backup unit verification

The encryption helper was verified using standards-compatible Web Crypto in Node because the automated Playwright `set_content` origin did not expose `crypto.subtle`.

Verified cryptographic behaviour:

- PBKDF2-SHA-256, 250,000 iterations;
- AES-256-GCM round-trip successful;
- plaintext did not appear in the encrypted payload;
- an incorrect password was rejected.

The browser interface also correctly displayed an “encrypted export unavailable” message when Web Crypto was absent. Availability still depends on browser context and organisational device policy.

---

## 7. Storage-fallback verification

The automated browser origin blocked persistent browser storage. The application therefore entered its intended fallback state:

> In-memory session mode · browser storage blocked · audio disabled

The complete workflow still operated in that restricted mode. This confirms graceful degradation, not data persistence: in-memory records disappear when the page or session closes.

Persistent IndexedDB and local audio remain browser- and permission-dependent features that require local deployment testing on the intended managed device.

## 8. Responsive and visual QA

Desktop views were captured for:

- suite launcher;
- participation-debt dashboard;
- pupil capture kiosk;
- audience routing contract;
- Decision Desk and Trial Licence;
- 4F Return & Review Studio;
- QA, audit and retention workspace.

Mobile checks used a **390 × 844** viewport.

Verified results:

- body scroll width: 390 px;
- viewport width: 390 px;
- horizontal overflow: false;
- mobile console/page errors: none captured.

Visual evidence is included in:

- `qa/LundyLoop_PRO_VISUAL_QA_MONTAGE.jpg`
- final numbered desktop and mobile screenshots in `qa/`.

---

## 9. Static and offline audit

Seven HTML applications were checked:

1. flagship operating system;
2. suite launcher;
3. duplicate `index.html` launcher entry point;
4. Pupil Explainer PRO;
5. Tokenism Detective;
6. Live Class Board;
7. Influence Receipt Maker.

Release gates:

| Gate | Required result |
|---|---|
| JavaScript syntax | All embedded scripts parse |
| External runtime scripts/styles/fonts/images | 0 |
| `fetch()` calls | 0 |
| `XMLHttpRequest` calls | 0 |
| Duplicate HTML IDs | 0 |
| Unlabelled visible form controls | 0 |
| Unnamed buttons | 0 |
| Missing internal launcher links | 0 |

The final machine-readable result is stored in `qa/STATIC_QA_RESULTS.json`.

---

## 10. Accessibility and shared-screen checks

Verified interface controls include:

- light/whiteboard theme;
- large-text mode;
- easy-read spacing;
- reduced-motion setting;
- large touch targets and mobile navigation;
- privacy shield;
- presentation mode that obscures exact words on a shared display;
- read-aloud support where speech synthesis is available;
- visible labels or accessible names for form controls.

These features improve access but do not replace individual accessibility assessment, communication planning or user testing with pupils.

---

## 11. Known limits and unautomated dependencies

The following are deliberately not claimed as fully proven by the automated suite:

- microphone permission and local audio capture across managed devices;
- speech-synthesis quality or availability;
- printer-driver output on every device;
- IndexedDB persistence under each organisation’s browser policy;
- password management, endpoint security or recipient authorisation for exported files;
- simultaneous multi-user editing, server-side access control or cross-device synchronisation;
- legal compliance, a completed DPIA or suitability as a statutory record;
- correctness of an adult’s professional decision merely because the form was completed.

The application contains no automated pupil diagnosis, sentiment inference, risk scoring or decision acceptance engine.

---

## 12. Release decision

**PASS — professional prototype release approved with the boundaries above.**

The flagship demonstrates an end-to-end participation-accountability workflow and retains the earlier pupil practice layer. It is suitable for fictional demonstration, staff rehearsal and controlled local piloting after organisational governance, privacy, safeguarding, retention and device decisions have been completed.
