- B Surroundings have equal concentration.

Osmosis is net water movement through a partially permeable membrane from a more dilute to a more concentrated solution.
Watch for: The potato is tissue, not a single membrane. Its cells have membranes. “Concentrated” must be relative to the solution on the other side.
