Receive · capture · calibrate
Suggested 10–15 minutes when it adds value. The classroom lesson remains 40 minutes.
1 · SPACE
Regulate first. Familiar adult, low-pressure setting, choice of modality, no public comparison.
2 · VOICE
Invite the learner to point, say/sign, demonstrate, edit or re-attempt. One prompt: “Show me what you found out.”
3 · AUDIENCE
Adult genuinely looks/listens/watches and names back the meaning: “You showed me that …”.
Possible evidence from this lesson:
4 · INFLUENCE · choose the next learning move
Planned bridge:
A lesson counts as complete only when Influence names an observable change. “The adult listened” is not Influence.
5 · Lean evidence action — only in the authorised workflow
If the work has genuine evidence value, staff may capture a photo, short video/voice clip, staff observation or work sample using the school’s authorised system. Listen/look before tagging. The lesson files themselves upload and store nothing.
