I Do

The Model — Personal Admin

Key Idea: Keep documents, track appointments, and protect your information.
Step 0 of 3

Key documents — what and where.

ID, letters, certificates and account details are the documents adult life needs. Keep them together in one safe, known place.

Track appointments.

A simple record — a diary or phone calendar — holds the date, time and place. Logging it as soon as you know it means you never miss it.

Protect your information.

Personal details are valuable to fraudsters. Keep documents private, do not share passwords, and check who is really asking before you give information.

I Do

Proving It — The Evidence Loop

Key Idea: An appointment record you set up and keep is real independence evidence.
Step 0 of 3

Documentarian

photo your appointment record and document list.

Annotate

write ‘I keep my documents safe by ___’.

Witness

staff sign your personal-admin system.

For the moderator, not just the folder

A tick says it happened. A witness statement says what you did. Before the photo is filed, the adult writes one sentence naming the thing they actually saw you do — and rings whether you did it Supported, Standard or Stretch.

That ring is the part that counts. It is the difference between “the class did this” and “this candidate did it, at this level, with this much help.” The witness sheet prints with every pack.

We Do

Match the Task to Why It Matters

🤝 With support

Task: Sort admin cards into DOCUMENTS and APPOINTMENTS, then log one appointment with an adult.

Steps: One step at a time — adult support is right there. Photo it when you are proud of it.

👤 On your own

Task: Set up a simple record of documents and appointments, and explain how you keep information safe.

Steps: Work it through — photo as you go, annotate at the end, witness tick before you pack up.

🚀 Take it further

Task: Design a personal admin system you could keep for a year, with reminders and a privacy routine.

Steps: Task first, privacy second — say how you protect your information.
