Success criteria: By the end you will have laid out the term’s work, presented your portfolio — to a partner, the TA or on video — using the three stems, and logged a real next step. Sharing evidence for the Explore log, and the habit Bronze is built on (AQA UAS ‘Creating artwork’).

GCSE Stretch: take one audience question and answer it with a because — Q&A is the Bronze sharing standard.

Progress is easier to see in a line

Your work sits in date order on the table. With your partner: what changed between the first thing and the last? Technique? Confidence? Size of ideas? Progress hides day-to-day and shows in lines.

Sentence stems:

“Next I’ll…” only counts if you mean it — it seeds next term, so pick the step you actually want.

💬 The audience contract

Eyes on the work, wait to the end, one kind comment, one question if invited. Everyone signs by sitting down.

Misconception: ~~“Presenting means performing to the whole class.”~~ Presenting means your work is seen and your thinking is heard — by ONE person or a camera, fully counted. The route is your choice every single time.

Ground rule (60 seconds): the audience contract holds for every sharer identically — the quietest presenter gets the same eyes as the loudest.

Station 1 · LINE & CHOOSE

Work in date order; choose the piece that best shows your PROGRESS — not necessarily the prettiest. Say why to yourself first.

Station 2 · PRESENT

Three stems, your route: partner, TA or video. Pointing along the work while talking is presenting.

Station 3 · NEXT STEP

Log the step you mean. Highlight the piece you’ll build on — next term starts exactly there.

GCSE Stretch: invite one question, answer with a because — “I chose clay because…” is Bronze-level ownership.
