Talk first, then we play β€” every voice counts here.

I Do

The Model β€” Knowing Myself

Key Idea: You can't grow what you haven't measured.
Step 0 of 3

What personal effectiveness actually means β€” skills that make everything else work.

Personal effectiveness is the engine behind every other subject β€” the skills of learning, deciding, communicating and teaming that make maths, work and life actually run.

Auditing strengths and interests honestly β€” evidence, not guesses.

An audit is claims plus evidence: every strength carries a dated example a stranger could check. No evidence, no entry β€” that's the L1 standard, and it's the L2 one too.

Turning the audit into a starting point you can build from.

The starting point isn't a judgement, it's a coordinate β€” you can only plot progress from a fixed point, and today's audit is it.

photo your completed audit.

Annotate

'my evidence for ___ is ___'.

Witness

staff sign the audit as your PEQ baseline.

For the moderator, not just the folder

A tick says it happened. A witness statement says what you did. Before the photo is filed, the adult writes one sentence naming the thing they actually saw you do — and rings whether you did it Supported, Standard or Stretch.

That ring is the part that counts. It is the difference between “the class did this” and “this candidate did it, at this level, with this much help.” The witness sheet prints with every pack.

🀝 With support

Task: Sort the strength and interest cards into MINE and NOT YET, then pick your development area with support.

Steps: One step at a time β€” adult support is right there. Photo when you’re proud of it.

πŸ‘€ On your own

Task: Complete your strengths-and-interests audit with one piece of evidence per strength, then mark your development area.

Steps: Work the task through β€” photo as you go, annotate at the end, witness tick before you pack up.

πŸš€ Take it further

Task: Complete your strengths-and-interests audit with one piece of evidence per strength, then mark your development area. Stretch: back every strength on your audit with a dated, checkable example β€” L2 evidence standard.

Steps: Task first, stretch second β€” and your annotation should explain the why, not just the what.

Lundy Loop

Lundy Loop β€” Your Voice on the Wall

Why: Article 12 β€” your view counts here, and it genuinely changes what happens next.

πŸšͺ SPACE

The Effectiveness Board tracks progress, never rankings β€” your headline is yours to word, and 'pass' is always allowed.

πŸ“£ VOICE

Say one skill you want this course to grow. Your headline, your words.

πŸ‘₯ AUDIENCE

Your audit is yours β€” the board shows the headline you choose, never the detail.

⭐ INFLUENCE

The skills the room flags decide what gets pushed in the weeks ahead.
