Scaffolding – Supported

· Handover day is the anxious one. Offer speak / carry / photograph openly at the START of the week, not on the morning — so nobody has to decline in front of anyone.
· Scribing is fine. The pupil's words, the adult's pen. The annotation is the evidence, not the handwriting.
· Off-site: consent forms filed, off-site rules briefed, and the route walked in advance. Photograph work, not faces, unless consent is on file.
· A pupil who does not want to go can still hand over — record a message, or write the care note that goes with it. That counts.
· Capture the pride. It is real, and for some of these pupils it is the first time they have given something to anybody.

An honest adaptation is stronger evidence than a perfect claim. Say what changed.
Scaffolding – Stretch
A care note has to work without you standing there. Write it for somebody who has never met you: what to do, how often, what to watch for, and who to contact.
Then name the benefit, not the object. "A planter" is a thing. "Somewhere the lunch club can grow herbs without bending down" is what it's for.
