I Do

The Model β€” Choose Our Asset

Key Idea: We build for someone real.
Step 0 of 3

What a community asset is (planter / wildlife box).

A community asset is a thing that keeps working after we walk away β€” a planter growing, a wildlife box sheltering β€” value that compounds in a green space.

Who benefits and how.

The benefit has a face: the site users, the wildlife, the partner who maintains the space. Naming who is the difference between a project and a present.

Voting fairly from the visual menu.

A fair vote means every voice weighs the same β€” reasons first, hands after, and the group's decision becomes everyone's decision, including the outvoted.

Proving It β€” The Evidence Loop

Key Idea: Launch extension: one written line β€” who still benefits from this in a year, when we've gone.
Step 0 of 3

Documentarian

photo the team vote.

Annotate

'we chose ___ for ___'.

Witness

staff tick 'contributed to the team choice', sign.

For the moderator, not just the folder

A tick says it happened. A witness statement says what you did. Before the photo is filed, the adult writes one sentence naming the thing they actually saw you do — and rings whether you did it Supported, Standard or Stretch.

That ring is the part that counts. It is the difference between “the class did this” and “this candidate did it, at this level, with this much help.” The witness sheet prints with every pack.

🀝 With support

Task: Choose from the picture menu and place your vote token. Then set a β€œwho it helps” face card beside it β€” no writing needed.

Steps: One step at a time β€” adult support is right there. Photo when you’re proud of it.

πŸ‘€ On your own

Task: As a team, weigh the options and vote for our community asset, then say who it's for and why.

Steps: Work the task through β€” photo as you go, annotate at the end, witness tick before you pack up.

πŸš€ Take it further

Task: As a team, weigh the options and vote for our community asset, then say who it's for and why. Stretch: argue for your second choice as if it were your first.

Steps: Task first, stretch second β€” and your annotation should explain the why, not just the what.

Lundy Loop

Lundy Loop β€” Your Voice on the Wall

Why: Article 12 β€” your view counts here, and it genuinely changes what happens next.

πŸšͺ SPACE

The Project Board is a real-stakes space β€” our partner sees it β€” but it's still safe: nothing goes up without your say-so, and 'pass' is allowed.

πŸ“£ VOICE

Say which asset you would back, and who you are thinking of when you say it.

πŸ‘₯ AUDIENCE

Our community partner reads this board β€” you are writing to them, not just to us.

⭐ INFLUENCE

The vote on this board is the decision. What the room agrees is what gets built.
