I Do

The Model — Applying Myself

Key Idea: A profile is your highlights reel.
Step 0 of 3

What a simple profile/application includes.

A simple profile is one page: who you are, your best strengths with an example each, and the kind of work you want. That's it — highlights, not autobiography.

Choosing your best strengths and one example.

Choose the strengths with the strongest proof, not the fanciest words. One evidenced strength outweighs three unproven ones.

Presenting yourself honestly and neatly.

Neat and honest is the presentation standard: real things, well laid out. It shows respect for the reader — which is itself a skill.

Proving It — The Evidence Loop

Key Idea: Launch extension: one written line — the strength you led with, and why it earned top spot.
Step 0 of 3

Documentarian

photo your profile page.

Annotate

'my best strength for work is ___'.

Witness

staff tick 'completed a profile', sign.

For the moderator, not just the folder

A tick says it happened. A witness statement says what you did. Before the photo is filed, the adult writes one sentence naming the thing they actually saw you do — and rings whether you did it Supported, Standard or Stretch.

That ring is the part that counts. It is the difference between “the class did this” and “this candidate did it, at this level, with this much help.” The witness sheet prints with every pack.

Independent Work

Independent Work — Studio Time

Instructions: Work at your level. Missed a few weeks? Use the Banked Strengths Deck in the print pack — choose three, add your proof, and you are building the same profile as everyone else. Evidence goes in your ASDAN portfolio — Documentarian photo + annotation + witness tick — ASDAN LI M8 / AQA UAS.

🤝 With support

Task: Fill your profile using the picture prompts and the printed sentence stems — three words a box is a full answer. Ask for a scribe only if you want one.

Steps: One step at a time — adult support is right there. Photo when you’re proud of it.

👤 On your own

Task: Complete your one-page profile: name, three strengths with examples, and a job area you'd like.

Steps: Work the task through — photo as you go, annotate at the end, witness tick before you pack up.

🚀 Take it further

Task: Complete your one-page profile: name, three strengths with examples, and a job area you'd like. Stretch: answer the hardest question — 'tell me about a time it went wrong.'

Steps: Task first, stretch second — and your annotation should explain the why, not just the what.

Lundy Loop

Lundy Loop — Your Voice on the Wall

Why: Article 12 — your view counts here, and it genuinely changes what happens next.

🚪 SPACE

The Strengths Wall is our safe space — nothing goes up without your say-so, and 'pass' is always allowed.

📣 VOICE

Read one line of your profile out loud — one line, not the page.

👥 AUDIENCE

Your partner or the TA hears it first. The wall only gets what you decide to pin.

⭐ INFLUENCE

The profiles on the wall decide the examples we use next term — your words become the model.
