β How this tab works β the app leads, you collect
- Pick the level, then the pupil β each pupil has their own working level, so Entry 3 and Level 1 evidence never mix.
- Pick a unit: the app selects the next criterion that needs evidence and states exactly what it must contain, straight from the spec.
- Tap a capture button β the pupil and criterion are pre-ticked for you. Add the photo or record, press Save.
- You come straight back here with the next gap already lined up.

Pupil
Each pupil works at one level. Set it once here and the app only ever offers that level's units for them.

3 Β· Capture it
Gold buttons are the best-fit evidence types for this criterion. Whichever you tap, the pupil and criterion are already ticked β just add the evidence and press Save.
β How this tab works β capture evidence
- π· Camera / πΌ Photos for pictures of work, or add a typed record β π witness, π¬ oral questioning or π learning log.
- Pick the planned activity, method, date and independence level β this appears on portfolios and keeps moderators happy.
- Tick every criterion the evidence genuinely shows. Use οΌ to tag a second unit if one piece covers both.
- Tick the pupils it belongs to, then Save. Every item gets a permanent EV number for cross-referencing.
Add evidence
Photos stay on this device and are shrunk automatically. Structured records retain the witness, question, response, support and authenticity details in backups and portfolios.

β How this tab works β find evidence
- Filter by unit, pupil or criterion to find any item; the EV number shows on each card.
- Tap an item to fix its note, criteria or pupils β or delete it.
Find evidence
β How this tab works β check coverage
- Choose a unit to see pupils Γ criteria with live decision status β grey means no evidence yet.
- Tap any cell to jump straight to that criterion in Review.
- Set each pupil's target qualification in the tracker below β credits count confirmed decisions only, and the Plan tab uses these targets.
Criteria coverage
Numbers = pieces of evidence per assessment criterion. Tap a green cell to see them; tap a column heading to read the full criterion. Red = nothing yet.

β How this tab works β make assessment decisions
- The readiness panel shows what stands between you and submission; the inbox jumps you to whatever needs a decision next.
- Choose a pupil and unit. For each criterion: read the linked evidence, tick the requirement checklist, record a decision.
- Achieved needs every requirement ticked β otherwise it saves as βfurther evidence requiredβ. That's deliberate.
- Add a short rationale β future-you at IQA sampling will be grateful.

Assessment review
Tagging shows where evidence may apply. A criterion only becomes achieved after an assessor records a decision here. Qualification credits use confirmed decisions, not raw evidence counts.
ASDAN ground rules: teamwork groups need 3+ learners and the assessor cannot be part of the group Β· recording documents must be in the learnerβs own words (note any scribe) Β· plans, logs and reviews are signed by candidate, assessor and IQA.
β How this tab works β plan the course
- Fill the cohort details once β the fields mirror ASDAN's assessment planning record.
- Set pathway, weeks left and hours per week β the time budget checks every pupil's target against reality (Award β 40h Β· Extended Award β 90h Β· Certificate β 140h+).
- Add each planned assessment activity; Quick map stamps a whole skill family across levels in one tap.
- π Planning record (PDF) produces the document for pre-delivery IQA sign-off.

Pathway & time budget
PEQ runs at ~10 GLH per credit (Award 40h Β· Extended Award 90h Β· Certificate 140β150h). This compares each pupil's remaining credits for their target qualification (set in β
Coverage) against the hours this cohort actually has left, and suggests the biggest award that fits.

β How this tab works β build portfolios
- Choose a unit, tick pupils β or Select all with evidence.
- One PDF per pupil: cover sheet, assessment-decision pages, then every dated evidence page with its EV number.
- Decisions come straight from the Review tab, so finish assessing before you print.
Generate portfolios
One PDF per pupil: cover sheet, dynamically paginated assessment-decision checklist, evidence references, requirement checks, feedback and dated evidence pages. Company cover pages slot in here when they arrive.
β How this tab works β set up
- Create one binder per cohort (e.g. βY10 PEQ 2026-28β); tick the PEQ levels and the real units load themselves.
- Paste the class list, one name per line. Removing a name archives the pupil β their evidence is kept.
- Official PEQ criteria are locked so your evidence mappings can't drift; deleting a unit archives it instead.
- πΎ Back up weekly β everything lives in this browser until you do, and the integrity check proves every link still resolves.
Binders
PEQ levels
Each binder is a self-contained ASDAN PEQ submission context β its own pupils, units and evidence. New binders arrive pre-loaded with the real PEQ units and criteria for the levels you tick.

Pupils
Removing a name keeps their existing evidence but hides them from new tagging.

Backup
Everything lives in this browser on this device. Back up weekly and after big capture sessions β each .zip holds one binderβs photos and tags. Old (v1) backups restore as their own binder.
